I was approached by a recruiter acting on behalf of the company who thought that my skills would be perfect for the role. Salary paid up to £60k based on experience (which I have).
I had an initial video call with the IT manager and CTO. The CTO initially kept calling me by the wrong name before I had to interject and correct him. His faltering internet connection also made things rather difficult, otherwise the process itself was straight forward and we briefly discussed my previous jobs in the film and TV industry.
However, having heard back from the recruiter two days later, and despite me saying that I'd be okay with this kind of work, they felt that I wouldn't be satisfied with the type of work involved because my technical skills are very strong (to the point, according to the recruiter, that it is around the same level of the IT manager). They seem to have deviated from the original spec sheet considerably.
