      HR Generalist Interview

      15 Jul 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Loansteady

      Interview

A recruiter called for a phone screen that was scheduled for 8:30 AM but didn’t call until 8:35. From the start, the interaction left a bad taste, as she came across as unwelcoming and had a rather rude tone. I ultimately decided to decline moving forward with the next steps. She asked why I left every position listed on my resume, one after the other, in a way that felt like rapid-fire questioning. Her tone came across as accusatory rather than conversational, making the interaction feel more like an interrogation than a dialogue.
