I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group (London, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
Face to face with head of dept hiring manager pre application to understand role. Meshed well so progressed to interview - single stage, telephone with 2 directors on the team. 45mins. Very unlike usual experience so far in Lloyds, very quick
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
3x behavioural fit questions and 2x culture or motivation. These are very formulaic and heavily scripted by HR, so once you’ve done one you’ve done them all - a very weak system for recruiting talent as it preferences candidates who interview well.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group (London, England) in Aug 2023
Interview
Fairly straight forward interview with hiring manager and another team member taking turns to ask questions. First few minutes were an introduction about the role and team structure. Then asked 5 competency based questions all linked to the company values; putting people first, being bold, DE&I, sustainability, and trusting each other. Prepare examples based around this. Few questions around my cv towards the end and what my current role entails. I was invited for a second stage interview 1 month after initial interviews due to holidays. Second stage interview then got moved out by yet another month due to company restructure and then I was advised the role had been pulled 2 months after initial interview.
