Interview
The interview wasn't at all what I was expecting. Specifically because the job they're advertising is not at all the reality of the situation. The events assistant role is more like a sales person, on the high street. As someone who has studied for years and years, this is not the kind of job I'd want to do. Especially if it has been misadvertised.

I went to a shopping centre (where they called the "event") and watched the girl try and sell a credit card to customers. Hardly anyone came and spoke to them

It's really disappointing to read that you didn't have a good experience. As an event-marketing company, we conduct event marketing campaigns at private event sites across London. These events take place at shopping centres, trade shows, exhibitions etc. We apologise if this wasn't explained clearly and you expected something different.

Interview
Process was clear and informative. Camilla Capasso was brilliant as a mentor and a Sales and Events expert. She was friendly and really helped me relax on the interview day. She provided all the news and even supplied me with a pen when I had forgotten mine. Her dedication to the role is admirable and she knew exactly what to say to get the best out of you. Her team are hard workers. All so friendly and not intimidating at all.
