I was contacted by email to come in for a face to face interview. I went to the interview and was told that the lady I had an interview with was in a meeting so I met with someone else!
The woman I spoke with seemed very nice and professional. She listened and answered questions that I had. I did notice that the office staff was not diverse and a red flag came up when she said that the last employee in the position I was interviewing for quit without a notice and that they were using temps. The interview lasted about 45 min.
I was called/emailed to come in again that afternoon so I could meet with the lady I was supposed to interview with that morning.
As soon as I walked in that lady seemed to have issues. She was very cold. When we went into one of the conference rooms she freaked out when she saw a few boxes with dust on them ( the conference room was dirty) When she finally calmed down. She asked me to explain my current work situation and in that discussion I explained to her why I was hoping to leave the company, and she continued to ask the same questions over and over. She kept trying to make something out of nothing. (About the reason I wanted to leave my current company) I explained to her more than once that I was looking for a position that would work with my college schedule and that offered good benefits. The questions she continued to ask were so horribly stupid I couldn't wait to leave, I completely checked out and wasn't surprised to hear that I didn't get the position. I couldn't be happier, I wouldn't be able to handle working for somebody like that.
