I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lender Toolkit in Jan 2025
Interview
My experience with Lender Toolkit’s interview process was underwhelming and unprofessional. The initial conversation with their HR recruiter seemed promising, as they emphasized company culture, collaboration, and innovation. However, the follow-through was completely absent.
One of the key things they asked was about cultural fit and alignment with their "employee-first" philosophy. Ironically, their hiring process did not reflect that same value. Despite multiple follow-ups, there was no response—no feedback, no update, not even a courtesy email to close the loop.
It’s understandable that companies may take time in making hiring decisions, but ghosting candidates—especially at the executive level—shows a lack of professionalism and respect for people’s time. If this is indicative of how they treat prospective employees, it raises concerns about how they operate internally.
If you’re considering an opportunity with Lender Toolkit, be prepared for a lack of communication and a drawn-out, one-sided process. Professionalism should be a two-way street, and unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lender Toolkit (Salt Lake City, UT) in Mar 2023
Interview
Very unprofessional. Had me spending hours doing online assessments and then scheduled me for a Zoom interview saying I was a top candidate. Nobody on their team showed up. The HR/recruiter employee apologized and said they would reschedule me the next day and then completely ghosted me for a week despite my repeated attempts to follow up. After over a week they messaged me again apologizing. Said the delay was because they were out of the office. When I asked if the position was still available they once again never responded. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in a professional setting in my life.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lender Toolkit (Salt Lake City, UT) in Sept 2018
Interview
I am a senior developer in the manufacturing and healthcare industry over 10 years of experience. Phone Interview with the developer went very smooth, asked about different technologies for web design, such as php, javascript, nodejs, only if know or have worked with before with these.
At the end ot the phone interview, the operations manager decided that because I didn't have any loan experience and I didn't have the encompass software knowledge, I was not qualified for the job.
I don't think is fair that to do software you have to know the specific software they are using, I consider this part of the learning curve for this job.
I also think that it was very disrespectful that they tell the interviewer by phone that you are not qualified for this position.
