I applied through university. I interviewed at Learning A-Z (Ann Arbor, MI) in Oct 2020
Interview
First round was a pretty standard phone screen. I spoke with an interviewer for 45 minutes with a few basic OOP questions and one coding question.
Second round was meeting the mentors, for a 3 hour interview with 3 1:2s. Each pair ran their section differently, whether by asking about more general coding questions, about my past experiences, or behavioral questions. Each hour session had a coding portion in addition to the questions.
Applied through university career fair. Had onsite interview. Interviewer was very nice but I wasn't really prepared for coding questions so I did not get an offer. Overall interview questions were not that difficult.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Learning A-Z (Ann Arbor, MI) in Sept 2018
Interview
Applied through university career fair, talked with the recruiter during the career fair, got an email for an on-campus interview and proceeded. The recruiter was very friendly and knowledgeable, and although the interview took an hour, it really did not feel as long because it felt relaxed and I thought I did good but maybe it was not enough(we ended up talking a lot as opposed to technical questions). There were a lot of behavioral questions going back and forth but it did not seem too uptight, just general things like why choose Learning A-Z?
