It was smooth. It was friendly. The interviewer was transparent and got back to me in time. Everything too about two weeks until o began the job. The interview was virtual.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lawyers for Employee and Consumer Rights (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
First a written exam and then a virtual interview. The exam was a closed universe set of facts and law and was given a 2-hour time limit to complete. After the written exam, the 2nd virtual interview was more to explain about the company and to answer any questions as well as to follow up on the written exam topic.

Question 1
How would you handle a case given a specific set of facts
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lawyers for Employee and Consumer Rights in Feb 2020
Interview
I had a phone interview with a recruiter, then a 2 hour test where I had to write a demand letter (similar to a PT for the bar exam), then I had a video conference interview with one of the managing partners. About a week or so after that I got a phone call from HR letting me know I got the job. All total I think it was about a month - 3 week long process. They let me know what the next step was and they were very communicative.
