      Assistant Manager Interview

      31 Jan 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Hereford, England
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Laura Ashley (Hereford, England) in Jun 2016

      Interview

Long, very long. I applied for the job in the beginning of March and told I’d hear something within a month, I waited until the end of April and rang up, I again was told someone would get back to me. I was finally given an interview June which lasted nearly 5 hours and only ended because the store was closing, I was called back and told I didn’t have the job. A couple of days later I was called by the regional manager and offered a different position which I accepted. I finally started working there in September after a week of training at another store. I have to point out that I was told that the position was not given by my manager and that she knew nothing of it at first, she never wanted to hire me and she never hid this fact.
