      Application

I interviewed at Larian Studios (Quebec, QC)

      Interview

Overall, a very exciting interview for a growing sound designer. The recruiter was a great guy, and found it easy to connect with. I really appreciated the time he took to hear about credentials and previous projects. What went wrong really seemed to be a miscommunication, a bit of ghosting, and I'm not really sure honestly. I felt, and even the recruiter noted, that I did very well on the interview, but since I'm lacking Canadian citizenship, they cannot proceed. I'm pretty torn on this one because it would have obviously been an amazing opportunity, but the pay wasn't that amazing, plus I'd have to move across the border. Thankfully I've been doing well in the states so maybe it all worked out, but I definitely would have appreciated a heads-up about the lack of sponsorship/Canadian-candidate-preference; spent weeks anxiously waiting to hear back and frantically googling the quickest way to achieve Canadian sponsorship. All the best to Larian and the team.

      Question 1

Can't remember exactly but it was a lot about my current projects and what have I been working on, along with my game audio education.
