I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Lantum (London, England) in Jul 2020
Interview
First I had a 30 minutes hangout call with the engineers manager, it took them longer than a week to get back to me after that, I was then told they wanted me to complete a coding exercise at home. I submitted the challenge and again silence, after almost 10 days I emailed the recruiter asking for some feedback and was told Lantum would contact me by the end of the week, another week passed and nothing, I emailed the recruiter again and now he tried to re-negotiate my salary requirements and still no feedback on the coding exercise, another week of silence and eventually the recruiter came back saying the role had been filed and that they couldn't afford my salary requirements (which I stated when I applied for the role).
The wrole process was unprofrofessional, disrespecful and unethical, see other reviews here, looks like they are piling up candidates and abusing the current situation.
