      RPM Program Manager Interview

      22 Jul 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Fremont, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Lam Research (Fremont, CA) in Dec 2015

      Interview

This was a long and tedious process. I had two phone interviews, one with the recruiter then one with the supply chain manager. They wanted to proceed with an in person interview with five other managers. Each manager had the same HR questions along with their specific questions pertaining to their job. This in-person interview lasted approximately four hours no break in between. I had another phone interview after with the Supply Chain Director. They scheduled another in-person interview where I would present a case study with all managers in division. They gave me the case study involving a problem they recently had with a supplier two days prior to the scheduled interview, even though I asked a week in advance. I gave the presentation to a panel of 12 managers and it lasted three hours including Q&A. Through the whole presentation, one manager was working on her laptop not paying attention. Definitely felt a lack of respect. I was then informed they have narrowed the candidates down between me and two others. After three weeks of following up, they told me they went with another candidate. Total interview process took three months.
