Submitted a resume and cover letter through email and got a phone interview a week later. The director was nice. At first, introduced the whole hiring process and began asking me questions about understanding of energy market design, understanding of some software and how proficiency of programming skills. The interview did not go to too much detail into the project experience. I guess he was focus on the skills I have.

I emailed my resume through the website and was then asked to fill out an application. Once they received that, I was set up with a phone interview with the President (they are a small firm). He seemed nice and was easy to talk to on the phone. The questions were pretty standard and most of it was on my past experience. While I was willing to relocate, it seemed they had reservations with this and they were not interested in relocating someone.
