Great phone interview and asked to come in for in person. Went in on a day the office was moving so I sat for an hour amidst chaos and confusion. Once she finally arrived, I got the feeling the recruiter was just interested in nosing around my current and prior companies. Did not ask much about my relevant experience except multiple cliched references to "The Devil Wears Prada," and talked about herself, her husband, her child and her great love of the company where I am presently employed. Did not seem that she had much knowledge about the position or the industry in general. Was then told about the process of "ranking" candidates by how much jumping up and down was done. After her awkward talk about nothing relevant to the job, I was cut off as I began asking questions and escorted out. Received an email about how enjoyable our meeting was and that she would circle back. After 2 weeks I reached out only to be told the position was filled internally by someone with more "luxury" experience.
