I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at LPL Financial (Fort Mill, SC) in Oct 2020
Interview
One initial interview, then a "super day" interview. For the super day interview you speak with 3 different people and are expected to finish an assignment only with a few days notice. Even if you answer every question and seem like a fit culturally, they will get rid of you if you did not give enough details in your answers. Instead of asking about you, they want to gage who you are through your professional experience. Which if you are coming out of college and do not have a lot of professional experience, good luck and make sure you can make some stories up. Because stories from school or extracurriculars apparently disqualify you as a candidate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All situational questions. Tell me about a time you anticipated a problem and how did you fix it. Tell me about a time where you outperformed expectations. Tell me about a time you had to explain something complex in simple terms. Tell me about a time you made a mistake in a professional setting.
