I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at L'Occitane
Interview
I had a telephone interview went well because I had worked for the company before anyway so I knew I passed, but I was told I would get a call back with the result later on that day but didn't. The next day I decided to call just so I knew the situation and I was told I passed and was booked for a interview. The day of my interview came and I was fully prepared I knew the position was for me (in terms of hours) other wise I wouldn't of applied. The questions were fairly easy mainly about customer service and experience. I really thought I had it. Then I received a call 2 days later to say I didn't get the job and how the other person I was up against was more well suited to the position. I thought that was a load of rubbish especially because I had worked there before and knew everything about the company. But so be it I know I'm better than the company anyway due to my pervious experience I knew I wouldn't be 100% happy there.
Very smooth for the whole interview and got hired, it was very pleasant talk with the manager and understanding the whole company structure. Besides got to explore more of their products
The interviewer seems professional and nice, no harsh questions and start on time. I think all retail interview very similar and nothing special in it. Just normal process and questions.
Super casual! The manager was very nice and kind! She asked basic questions, like why I wanted to work there. She also gave me insight about the job and told me she would call me with the results.
