Had a video screening call with a recruiter here, and it was a good experience, even though I didn't end up being the right fit for the role.
The recruiter clearly knew what she was looking for in terms of the actual person that would work in that environment and specific skills. That kind of clarity is refreshing and honestly not that common at the screening stage.
No hard feelings about not moving forward - if anything, the conversation made it pretty obvious we both figured that out together, which felt respectful.
And as someone who's been an L.L. Bean customer for a while, it's just nice when a brand you like also turns out to treat candidates well. Good to know the two are consistent.
