I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Spring Hill, TN) in Feb 2017
Interview
Received call on Monday for interview Wednesday. Went to interview. Talked for about twenty minutes. Covered a broad range of topics: job history, the area, sports, random topics. Spoke about the actual job towards the end. Interviewer described the job from the board listing pretty much verbatim. Offered a position contingent on a background and drug test.

Question 1
More of a general conversation than an interview. Covered a broad range of topics.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kroger in Jun 2026
Interview
Interview was very brief and only asked me my previous employment history and availability. I was then given a run down of what the position would entail and had to sign a couple papers proving that it was explained to me. Overall not too bad and was very laid back.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Hilliard, OH) in Dec 2025
Interview
Rote, simplistic, smarmy interviewer. Typical open ended questions regarding customer service. I got the distinct impression that I was being eliminated due to my age. I frequently shop at the store and there are very few employees over age 45.
Easy, very basic questions, pretty much just questions based on prior employment and contributions to team work.Easy, very basic questions, pretty much just questions based on prior employment and contributions to team work.
