Overall the interview process was fairly straight forward and the interview itself lasted about 30 minutes. It was mostly general questions and was pretty easy. It was a very relaxed interview and would recommend it.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Kettering, OH) in Jun 2014
Interview
The interview process was very casual. They didn't tell me upfront but I had essentially received the position before I met the HR manager in person. I think they just wanted to interview me to make sure there wasn't any issues and that I was serious about taking the position. I dressed casually and that seemed to fit the atmosphere of the interview. The manager gave me some basic questions, mostly just asked me to elaborate on some aspects of my resume. The rest of the time consisted of planning the next time we would meet to fill out paperwork, do a drug test, and start computer training. They had to do a background check before I could start anything officially so everything together took about a week.
