I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kopon Airdo (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2016
Interview
Through OCI. Interviewer was very friendly, but seemed dispassionate about her job. She asked insightful questions, though, and seemed to genuinely want to understand my work and academic history. The interview lasted roughly thirty minutes and was held on-campus.

Question 1
Basic questions, concerning my academic career, work history, various experiences throughout school and work.
Very professional and interviewing attorney was personable. It didn’t feel too much like they were fishing for exact answers or a prototype; rather, interested in who they were actually speaking with.

How previous experience/expertise would translate to the role.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kopon Airdo (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2016
Interview
My interview was at 2 pm, but I was not interviewed until 3 pm. I understand that there will often be a wait, so this was not a deal-breaker. However, listening to the Partner yell at a client during that hour was unnerving. The Partner also explained that he recently fired/let go of all of the Associate Attorneys "last week," and explained it was related to their lack of time management skills.
All I thought was, what kind of firm is this if you let go of all of your staff last week?
