The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's in Mar 2010
Interview
I was introduced to this opportunity through a Kohl's campus recruitment event. I had an initial informal conversation with a store manager and an HR person, where they took my resume and asked me basic questions like educational background and where I would want to work geographically. This was followed up by an e-mail offering me an interview on campus. I went through the first round interview, which was a 1:1 interview. THey asked me basic questions like what are strengths and weaknesses. I was then offered a second interview, again via e-mail. The second interview was split into 2 parts. The first part consisted of three 1:1 interviews with store, district and regional managers. The second interview was a group interview with 3 other candidates and a room full of Kohl's representatives. They gave us a list of 4 or 5 questions and a scenario that we needed to work through as a group aloud and then present our answers to the group. I would assume the purpose of this was to see if we were able to work in a team and whether or not we were leaders. In the end I did not receive the job. I believe this was due to a lack of experience in retail and a poor resume.

I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Kohl's (Milwaukee, WI) in Mar 2011
Interview
The first interview was on campus. They asked the basic questions about personality and work ethic. The recruiter was very nice and welcoming. Then I was invited to Milwaukee for an entire day of interviews. They did a one on one interview and then a group/panel interview where we had to discuss about whether to execute on a new marketing campaign. The day was long but a great experience overall.

Question 1
The panel interview was the toughest part for me because it was my first time ever dealing with something like that.
