I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kohl's (Houston, TX) in Feb 2014
Interview
The interview last for about 30 minutes, with about 6-7 general questions. Most of them are "what did you do" type of questions. These questions are very easy, but it will show your personality and managerial behaviors. I was expecting to be asked some questions related to Kohl's or any experiences related to retail management, but most of them asking about failures and mistakes in the past.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Blacksburg, VA) in Oct 2018
Interview
It was very simple and was actually enjoyable. Everyone I interviewed with was super friendly and easy to talk to! I first had a one on one interview with a nearby store manager. Then my second interview came a few weeks later. It was a group interview with an easy case study/ presentation. Then there were two one on one interviews with a store manager and then the Division Manager.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Kohl's (Wilmington, DE) in Mar 2018
Interview
The interviewer was nice and friendly. I left with positive feeling but it was heartbreaking to realize when I didn't get the job, especially when I was really looking forward to it.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kohl's in Feb 2017
Interview
The interview process was very negative. There were two women and one of them did not seem interested in me at all. She seemed to force my answers to be short when she would look down at her paper and start saying her next question. I did not feel comfortable during the interview and she made me just want to walk out the door. She was not a very good interviewer.
