This was an interview for moving into a management position in the organization. I did a role play with my manager and the SVP of Global Talent in which we acted out potential scenarios a manager might run into and how I would respond. What was great is that it wasn't just a yes/no or pass/fail situation. They used the interview as an opportunity to provide me with coaching. They told me what they loved about how I handled the imaginary scenarios and what I could have done better. It was a great experience. Role-playing is always a little awkward, but the team really made me feel comfortable.
