A friend of mine who works for Klarna referred me to a Business Recruiter position in Dublin over 6 weeks ago. Now over 6 weeks later, I still haven’t even received a rejection email, I've heard nothing. My friend told me that the recruitment team can be slow, but leaving candidates with no contact for over 6 weeks is crazy. Thankfully I’ve already started another job, but the Klarna role is still in the back of my mind. As a Recruitment and HR professional myself, I find it super frustrating that Klarna are not better than this. Treat candidates how you would like to be treated. Recruiters have zero excuses to leave candidates dry like this. I spoke with an ex colleague of mine during the week who was also referred to the exact same role, she let me know that she hasn’t heard anything from Klarna either and she was also referred, she was referred over 5 weeks ago. DO BETTER KLARNA.
