as a first step everyone is required to do a logic test, I find that a bit odd but once I've actually done it I found it fun and still unclear what the value of it was. once they have screened the test and profile I was invited for a 30 min call with a product manager, I appreciated the direct to professional interview approach and was happy to not do yet another HR call.. On that call I was notified that I am not yet interviewing for a specific position and that the next step would determine which position is relevant. I did quite badly on that interview and I was expecting to get a 'no' at this point. regardless, I received an email that I passed that step and before we move to the next set of interviews they would like to make another logic test with a supervisor to do.. what? same test, but supervised. the lack of trust is already alarming but I enjoyed the first test and didn't mind it. I passed the test 16/18. This is where things got bad for me. we had a bit of a hard time finding time for the second batch of interviews (meant to decided which position is relevant for my profile) but we set one for a week after. On the morning of the day the meetings were to occur I received an email letting me know that "the position is no longer available" I remind you, there was no specific position and nothing changed during the 1.5 weeks since I received my first "yes". I assume it's a classic case of "Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing" but the results are a dishonest process.
