Very simple interview. More about who you are than how you sell. They are very concerned about store culture and how each individual fits into it. Sales experience isn't a must, but you must be able to learn quickly and fake till you make it.

First I met with the HR Director, Janice Klaiber, a very sweet, professional and informative lady who truly knows her stuff and sold me on the whole Kittle's Culture within minutes. Their culture is specifically driven by Servant Leadership which I had the luxury of working in that culture before so I knew it would be a good company. She then sent me to the actual store to meet the store manager I would be working for. He too was a very kind man with lots of experience and knowledge in the business. The one thing I liked about him is he didn't try to sell a sales person. In other words he was very real about the type of salary I would make and didn't make up numbers. And the numbers he told me matched with other salary reviews I have read on this very site! Who wouldn't want to work for an honest person?!?!?
