It was a straight forward process based on other sales departments, roles, and leadership style as it followed the typical sales questioning and conversation on the personal role(s), company goals, and compensation.

Question 1
What previous sales experience have you had in past roles/companies?
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kinney Group
Interview
I discovered Kinney during a college career fair. After submitting my resume I was contacted a few days later to apply for an interview. The first interview was very straightforward. It was a typical behavioral interview with a few sales elements mixed in.
After a month or so I was contacted for a second round interview. This interview involved me doing a presentation for the Kinney leadership teams. I was assigned an organization and had to research a disruptive technology within the industry. The topic itself had little to do with the Kinney group. It was more of a fun way to assess my presentation skills in front of the board members of a company. I and 5 other people all presented our respective organizations to the leadership team. The atmosphere was very relaxed and focused on teaching us about what companies look for in these presentations, rather than drilling us with questions and trying to see if we buckle under pressure.
After the presentation we were given lunch and gift cards to compensate us for gas. We finished the day by speaking with the 2 members from the leadership team in a very relaxed interview.
