I applied on Kiewit's website for a job that was listed in Portland, Oregon. Their website listed their Portland office address that was near my home so I was looking forward to a short commute if I was hired. I did not hear back from them until a full month later. Then I get a phone call stating that I needed to agree to interview at 11:00 AM the next day as that was the only time available. I did not like such a short notice especially since they had my application for a month, but I agreed to the interview. They then sent me an address that was not on their website and that was far outside the city of Portland. I asked why the interview was not in Portland, and they said that was their Portland office. I sent them a website that clearly stated that their office is in Tigard, not Portland. Their response was to cancel the interview.
