      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kids Science Labs (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2018

      Interview

Bizarre Questions/Requests from the leaders conducting the interview. Didn't always seem relevant to the job (made more sense once I started working there). Kind of a weird vibe from the people working there, they definitely are looking for a certain type of person.

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

They asked me to tell them a story for two year olds that had to contain a llama and a pickle. (over the phone)
      Answer question

      Question 2

They asked me to tell another story with a small plane. THEN I had to build a box out of paper in under a minute. (in person)
      Answer question

      Question 3

I had to ask them questions about what was in a tiny box to figure out the objects (in person)

      Interview

First had a phone call with the HR manager to invite me to an interview, and then had a video call with them where we went through a variety of tasks. Be prepared to be energetic, confident, and ready to demonstrate your understanding of how to work with young learners.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell a story that would explain "xyz" concept to a 5 year old.
