Awful experience. First was the Phone interview, typical behavioral HR questions. then came the super-day at corporate headquarters. 4 separate interviews, total of 8 people. Honestly i felt they had made up their mind about not hiring me from the start of the superday before the first interview. Was treated very rudely by 1 interviewer in particular, telling me i should have applied to other positions if i wanted to study for a series 7 license. There were more technical/finance questions than there were with the interview i had for an analyst position with a Top 5 Investment Bank that is based in the Midwest (and i received an offer from this brokerage). Told the Recruiter during the phone interview that i did not know how to do a certain excel function, was told it was not an issue at all and that i would be trained on it. Then was told after super-day that it was one reason why i did not receive the offer. Overall, unpleasant experience. Felt like i never even had a chance from the moment the 2nd interview started and just gave up on the questions they asked me and told them i didn't know the answers to their questions.
