Interview process took months. Party due to the slow response from the company and partly as I was in a different country.
I was then invited for a week long interview process that was called Kanvic Experience.
I was given a task each day that would mirror a day in the life of a Consultant. Interesting concept to be honest.
After a week I was told I had impressed and was offered a full time position. But the salary conditions were unclear as it included some fixed component and some variables and everything was communicated verbally.
We decided I’ll start in a week and I went home to prepare for moving to a different city.
I did follow up on the offer with questions requesting clarity on the salary, leave policy, other minor things.
After a few days i was told i asked too many questions that did not align with the company culture as they are seeking people with entrepreneurial spirit. And hence the offer was rescinded.
In a nutshell, the organisation does some interesting work, However, I got a feeling they were looking for people who would work without questioning the precedent even though some policies are toxic.
If you are okay to give up the reins of your life and act as a corporate slave under the guise of entrepreneurial spirit, it is a good learning opportunity and a good stepping stone.
