I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kantar (London, England) in Feb 2019
Interview
The interviewing process was very straight forward. I applied online and around 2 weeks later was contacted to answer my availability, expected salary and whether I had the right to work in the UK. I was then later contacted to find my application had been shortlisted and to choose a time for an interview at their Bloomsbury Way office. The email consisted of tips of how best to answer questions by using the STARR method.
The Interview consisted of two members of the Media team who were Account Managers and the interview lasted just over an hour. They were very friendly and I didn't find the interview to be too difficult. Later that afternoon I found I had progressed to the second stage of the process and I would be having a telephone/Skype interview with two other members of the team. During this telephone interview I was asked near enough the same questions but this interview was very short, around 20-30 mins long. I didn't have a good feeling that it went well and this was proven when I didn't hear back from Kantar on whether I had been successful or not after the time frame I was given by the person conducting the telephone interview.
All communication stopped which I found to be very strange since they had been very responsive during the recruitment phase when I was a potential candidate. I sent an email 1 week after I should have been notified about my outcome to the person that had been handling my application and I have still yet to hear back from them. It's such a shame that this happened because the recruitment process had been a generally positive experience. But to go from having regular contact and then hearing nothing especially after I send an email asking about my status, I find that to be rude and disrespectful.
