I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Kantar (Warren, NJ) in Aug 2018
Interview
Applied online and was connected to a recruiter who ran the process and managed contacts with their team. The interview consisted of many (7 or so) phone interviews with members of the qualitative team in the UK and other teams in the US, with one in-person round in their Warren NJ office in the middle. The team members were clear in explaining the demands of the role (the first US-based team member) and the nature of the work, which is purely project management and account management. While each individual interviewer was thoughtful enough in their questions, there didn't appear to be any communication between them between rounds - each round consisted of the same questions as the last. Additionally, while each individual team member suggested flexibility in the location (possibility for on-site training in Warren, then remote work from another Kantar office in NYC where I was based), the recruiter ultimately requested a statement about my thoughts on relocation and unsupervised work to share with the whole team. I repeated what I had stated on the phone with each member, I stopped hearing back. Overall, their recruiting staff was very clear and helpful, but the team itself could have saved a lot of time by deciding their requirements and communicating among themselves at the beginning of the process.
