I had proactively connected to the HR ( Nithanth ) through linked-in when I saw an opportunity at Kabbage and to my surprise I got a call within 4 days which usually does not happen . He was very candid in his conversation and was able to explain more about the company and the position and scheduled a F2F interview at the office location. The very next day when I landed to their office to my surprise , I could see the office very transparent , vibrant and the most important part was every single person on the seat had a smiling face and were enjoying their work space. This gave me a boost before I could go for the interview . The HR then took me to their swanky cafeteria and offered some yummy food from the live counter since he knew I had come there during the evening snacks time and he made sure I ate well . The interview process was scheduled in a conference room and I happen to speak to a very energetic individual ( JJ) who made me feel comfortable and we did have a fruitful discussion . After a week I did get a call for my next round but what I wanted to let you know was that , the HR was in constant touch throughout the week and made sure I was engaged by constantly updating me on the status . He did talk to me more about the company and also made sure he had a personal touch on understanding what I use to do apart from my work which I feel 10% of of the HR's do in these days. It gave me a satisfaction that even though I was the candidate applying for the job the HR was always a part of that journey . I did finish my 2nd round with the leadership team and that again was a wonderful experience . Expectations are set very clearly and you are empowered to respond and voice your opinion and trust me they are very good listeners . After some more days I was again invited to the office to speak to the Head of Kabbage and during my conversation he never gave me a feeling of his position but intern spoke to me more as friend and had a very interesting conversation . He explained to me about his journey and the Kabbage culture and that was also 1 of the factor which helped me decide to accept the offer later . In a matter of 2 day after I was called by the HR and the offer was rolled out . I would like to let you know that I was able to express what is the compensation I was looking for without any hesitation and they made sure that they pay as per the market and what you deserved and most importantly they wanted to make sure I had a smile when I saw the offer . Let me tell you KABBAGE nailed it . I would strongly recommend you to look for any open positions in this organisation and apply for the role and trust me you wont regret.
