I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Kabbage (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2016
Interview
Applied to the role through a Glassdoor posting. Received a response from asking if I could spend 20-30 minutes for a phone interviewing. Conversation was really upbeat and we got into several of the projects that I've been involved in. To tell the truth, the interview more closely resembled an interview for a product owner role. The recruiter kept asking me about my leadership and abilities to lead scrum sessions. I wouldn't say he grilled me, but we spent the majority of the time laser focused on story writing and validation including conditions of satisfaction. It was clear that I'd be expected to take ownership of the delivery of features and capabilities throughout the development process.
After the recruiter call, I felt pretty prepared for a call with the VP of Product. She dug into one of my SDLC experiences with an B2B SaSS application. She kept prodding me for a deeper understanding of the project. She made me stop and think when she asked why "Why were you chosen for this project?" I think it was the first time anyone made me wonder why I volunteered to run a mobile application when I didn't have experience in that domain.
After the phone interview, it must have been a few hours before they called me to come in to meet with the team. When I met with the team, it was a big crowd - i think it must have been 8 people for a panel interview for 45 minutes. There was a lot of interaction from member of the team and the VP mainly took notes. While the crowd was fun, I got the impression that they didn't feel like they should be there. Some of the questions I'd already answered.

Question 1
How many cigarettes are consumed in a day in India?
Great interview process; fun, engaging, and could meet many of the people you would work with to get a better understanding of the culture, work, and day to day responsibilities
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Kabbage (Atlanta, GA) in Sept 2017
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter via linked in. I had an initial phone interview with the recruiter the next day. I was scheduled for another phone interview, the following week, with a Business Analyst. He asked me a lot technical questions about one of my projects that I was not prepared for. I should of used a different example because shortly after I learned I was not selected to move forward due to my lack of knowledge of APIs.
