I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Manchester, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
Very similar to most consultancy firms in my experience, initial assessment mainly requires common sense. Secondly, video interview, which again seems fairly common. The assessment centre day is more daunting but the same emphasis seems to be on thinking outside the box. Aim to throw in an innovative idea around one of the case studies provided.

Question 1
Why tax? Why KPMG? How could tech be used to innovate?

Interview
AC was pretty easy. You start with a group task: there will be 4 of you and 2 assessors, and they will watch how you interact. The task for my group was to pick a company that KPMG should invest in. The second task was a fun thing we went around playing games and stuff; this was not assessed. Then it was my interview, it’s 1-1 in a big hall with like 50 other people in there. Imagine the hall u do your GCSEs in, yeah, like that! They ask strength-based questions. Then the last part was a Q&A & experience centre where you learn about KPMG. Quite fun!

Multi-stage application process, including online assessments, video interviews, and an assessment centre with interview.
Assessment centre was interesting, with a lot of information about KPMG provided. Graduate recruitment and other members of staff present were professional and welcoming.
Interviewer was engaging and overall the interview was enjoyable.

Interview
Pretty Good, the interviewer was friendly, and the entire process was smooth. Only downside is you are interviewing with everyone one else in a single room so it could be a but noisy.
