Lead Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) Interview

      24 Sept 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG

      Interview

The initial interview was like an exam related with JS, api testing etc. the interviewer was asking 2 questions per min during half an hour. It’s the worse interview experience I’ve gone through. I was only left 1 min to ask questions after which I knew this is not the type of company I’d like to work for Strangely enough I passed this round even if many of the questions I replied back as I don’t know ., hoping they’d stop asking more questions. Their HR was a bit difficult to deal with as well. They would send you a time slot and you had to say whether you could make it. For the second round I couldn’t make it so I sent alternative slots which were completely ignored as their new suggestions were days I couldn’t make. (I hadn’t suggested them for a reason ) When I wrote them to say that I had found a job and I wanted to drop off then they didn’t even bother saying thanks for letting us know. I got a feeling that they want perfect people to work for them and they are treated like robots in there.
