KPMG AI Expert – Frontend Developer digitale Interfaces interview questions

I recently applied for the position AI Expert – Frontend Developer digitale Interfaces & KI-Anwendungen (w/m/d) at KPMG. Throughout the application process, I clearly indicated that my German language level is basic. My CV and cover letter were in English, and I selected English as my preferred communication language. The initial screening call was also conducted in English. However, when I joined the scheduled interview, I was unexpectedly told that the interview must be conducted in German and that it would be stopped if I could not continue in German. This was completely inconsistent with all previous communication and showed a lack of preparation and consideration from the interview team. For a global company like KPMG, I found this behavior very unprofessional and disrespectful. It would be appreciated if the recruiting team reviewed candidate information more carefully before scheduling interviews to avoid such experiences in the future.
