I applied for a full time role but was contacted to interview for a part time role they were *potentially* going to open up in the future. Being misled from the start raised many red flags but decided to move forward with the interview to get an idea of what the company was about. The CEO immediately starts off gaslighting me by telling me I am not qualified enough for the digital marketing manager role. I found it funny because I actually did this exact job (digital marketing) over four years ago and drove massive results. He clearly didn't read my resume. He basically wanted a director-level digital marketer at an entry level salary... that's IF he decided to hire this person for a part time "opportunity". I read the Glassdoor reviews, so I knew what to expect. The only surprise was how little they value marketing when their website and social media profiles are a mess. The company desperately needs someone to come in full time and do a complete overhaul of the content, branding and website UX.
