Gatekeeped the interview by forcing canidates to take a 20 minute online survey to filter out people. Absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful of everyones time. Also they reposted the job with 100 applicants or more. They have zero respect for anyone.

Question 1
Would you take a 20 minute survey so we can filter out applicants?

Interview
After the recruiter screening they gave an assessment. The assessment interview was a little odd - interviewers said they were eager to get into the (2 slide) assessment since we only had an hour, so they didn't ask questions ahead of time. After the assessment, they asked to go over my portfolio, then interrupted me as I was presenting it and said "well, we have your portfolio, so we'll turn it to you for questions." Both my questions were met with "Well as we said," so not super welcoming. It seems like after they looked at my portfolio they decided they didn't want to move forward with me and wanted to end the interview. Wish they had determined that before giving me the assessment. They use Teams anyway so really not my loss that they didn't move forward lol.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Jump 450 Media in Jul 2024
Interview
The interview process felt disorganized and unclear from the start. It took multiple follow-ups just to secure an interview, and when it finally occurred, the interviewer arrived late, was off camera, and seemed disengaged.
The role being discussed didn’t align with the position I was initially contacted about, and when I asked for clarification, I was told the conversation was more about ‘getting a vibe’ than the actual role.
The interview ended abruptly, followed by a rejection shortly after. There also seemed to be a disconnect internally regarding whether feedback was even shared. Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and left me unsure about the company’s hiring process.
