I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Jones Lang LaSalle (Milwaukee, WI) in Jul 2016
Interview
I applied to a recruiter's posting on Milwaukee Jobs. I heard back from the recruiter the next morning, and after he submitted my resume and it was approved by the hiring manager, an interview was lined up an interview was lined up later in the week.
I met with the Executive Vice President of the Wisconsin office. He explained the main duties of the position and stressed the need for a reliable candidate. He also stressed the importance of everyone's role on a smaller team like the one in the Milwaukee branch. He did not have a lot of questions for me but wanted to be sure that it was a job I'd enjoy, although he did not want to know my answer right away. I did respond that I was interested later that day.
The job description given to me by the recruiter was more exhaustive and seemed to have a strong emphasis on the creative duties of the position, but the way it was explained to me was more of an office administrative and supportive role to the other brokers (which, in fact, appealed to me more).
Overall the interview was very straight-forward, honest, and refreshing compared to my last interview at Wisconsin Events.
JLL is awesome! Hope I get the job! The interview was a panel style interview. You will be working with multiple brokers so they all have to have a say.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Jones Lang LaSalle in Aug 2021
Interview
Interview process took about 3 weeks.
First interview was pretty casual and informal- with the hiring manager.
Second interview was still pretty casual but more formal interviewing relating more to what the job entails and what they expected from ideal candidate. This one was a panel interview with the team members you’d be working with.
I heard back about a week after the second interview with a verbal offer.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jones Lang LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. After speaking with her over the phone, I was passed to someone else for an hour long phone interview. That part was confusing because there was some miscommunication on who I’d be talking with and how to reach them.
Got through that and was told they’d be in touch about in person options. Was asked to do an in person. That’s where it fell apart to me. The hiring manager who led the team explained that his team was a bit obnoxious. They liked to push the envelope to offensive and often made off color remarks. I wasn’t sure how to respond.
I was then introduced to two other team members. The interview was weird. I was in this dark conference room alone for a while waiting for someone to come sit and talk to me. The front desk people weren’t wildly friendly.
All in all, I didn’t get the job but truly didn’t want it in the end based on the team culture within the company.
