I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Johnson Controls (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Spoke with recruiter. Next, an in person interview with the district sales manager. The interview was very casual and consisted mostly of him selling me Johnson Controls. A few behavioral questions which are easily answered using the STAR method. After the interview I was told I would be contacted within a month. Pleasantries were exchanged a few times during that month. However, when it came to the one month mark I was already offered other jobs and they could not give me an answer. I accepted another job based on the fact they seemed unorganized. This proved true when 3 weeks after the one month mark they called me back to offer me the job with an acceptance period for only 2 days. Had to decline. Unprofessional process and the position appears to be high turnover.

I applied online. I interviewed at Johnson Controls (Edison, NJ) in Jan 2026
Interview
First round with HR/Recruiter was so dry. There was zero excitement or inflection in their voice when speaking about the company or role and they did not come on camera.
Easy as i was asked a couple of questions. You have to just be yourself ya know. Great process. Be prepared to role play. I had a couple of calls and zoom interviews and that was it.
