The process took 3 months. I interviewed at John Deere in Nov 2011
Interview
Initial interview on campus 1:1 for 30 mins. A month later the company invited me out to their headquarters for a series of 5 1:1 interviews which were informal and very laid back. The particular department I interviewed with said they did target hiring so others interviewing may have different experiences.
An interview is a conversation between two or more people, most commonly an employer and a job candidate, to determine if the candidate is a good fit for a role. To succeed, you should thoroughly research the company, prepare answers to common questions like "Why do you want this job?"
John Deere uses the Targeted Selection behavioral interview process. There are many sample questions online if you search for them. Answers should be given in the STAR format. It is best to add what you learned and how you applied it.
