When I turned in my application the PIC interviewed me immediately on the spot, which I wasn't expecting but liked. Since I had worked at sandwich shops and Chipotle my experience was the main reason I was hired. Once hired I was asked to study the menu to take a test of what is on the menu.

I walked in the store asked for an application filled it out there turned it back in. waited a couple of days then. manager called me and asked when i could go in then, had the interview, said i had to learn the menu, came back a week later to test and passed got the job and started working that same day.
