Unprofessional experience. Before interviewing they screened me asking if I was OK with the pay range. I said I was OK with the upper end of the range. After 2 short interviews they offered me the job at the lowest end of their range. I said that wasn't OK with me, I had already said I needed the higher end. They bumped it up a couple dollars, still very far from the high end. I asked for a couple dollars more. Instead of saying they couldn't do more, they ghosted me for 6 days and then said "after our discussions" they went with someone else. Disappointing process and it felt deceitful that they'd interview me knowing I was only OK with the higher pay range and then only offering me the base.
