It was an hour-long screen with a recruiter.
We went through my *entire* resume, including education, first roles, etc.
This structure results in about 45 minutes discussing old roles and virtually no time to expand on the traits, qualifications, and background more directly pertinent to the role.
Don't get me wrong, it's very interesting to hear the progression through one's career, but I was very put off by the process.
I heard back only after pinging the recruiter despite their explicit feedback that I would hear back from them the following morning. They stated they were reevaluating the gaps in knowledge and wanted someone with more TV experience.
Notably, I don't believe we discussed this requirement at all and due to the nature of the discussion, spent 3/4 of our hour screening for everything BUT this apparent requirement.
Waste of my time.
