Applied through their website, few days later received an e-mail to schedule the phone interview. Interviewed by Researcher, nice guy. Few questions regarding my CV to break the ice. Then came the technical (probability) questions. They were not easy, but also not unsolvable. I was too nervous, did some questions good, stumbled on some, and finally didn't pass. All in all, very interesting experience.

Question 1
Game: I throw coin 5 times, you throw it 4 times, if I have more heads than you, I win, otherwise you win. What is the chance you will win?
Game: I throw 1 die 4 times, trying to reach at least one 6, you throw 2 dice 24 times and try to reach at least one double 6 (6,6). Who has greater chance of winning
Robot wakes up every morning and does one of the following things with equal (1/4) probability: 1) self-destroys; 2) does nothing; 3) clones himself (so you have 2 robots); 4) clones himself two times (so you have 3 robots). If you have one robot at the start of the first day, what is the probability that, eventually, you will have no robots?
The process began with serveral online tests for maths and logic. They gave a personal interview to get to know the candidate better and evaluate fit for the company/role, then held a technical interview covering maths and logic problems.
Fun and filled with unexpected questions. The questions rely on fast thinking and fast calculations, and sometimes intuition because there is no sufficient time for me to work through the whole problem.
We started with a bit of small talk, followed by some probability questions. Ended with some basic algebra questions, Make sure to ask questions if you have any. Good experience, feels like the interviewer was trading.
