Two interviews were required for the job.
The first was with the General Superintendent.
No structured questions, (they already had my resume) only a brief, verbal description of what I had been doing recently and how many years I had in the industry.
The meeting was friendly and non confrontational.
The second interview was with the Regional Director about a week later.
This was a bit more structured, but not much.
He asked me "Why should we hire you?" and questions like that, but to my mind, it wasn't meant to be a "trick" question, just something he was required to ask.
Both interviews took about 20 minutes and at the end of the second one, I was made an offer of employment with a salary and benefits number.
After the verbal offer of a job, I was contacted by their HR Department and had to fax and email copies of my driver's license, social security card and a sheaf of forms they sent to me.
Job requires a drug test and a criminal background check and all this, along with the paperwork will take a week.
Payday is every two weeks and it's direct deposit into your bank account, every other Friday. Money will be there at Midnight Thursdays.
