I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Jackson Hewitt in Feb 2011
Interview
I walked into the store and said I wanted to work there. They were ecstatic (as they needed someone). I told them I had experience doing taxes and they had me fill out an application. I then dropped it off at thier district office. A few days later, the District called to verify some information (birthday, last name, etc). A few days after that the manager of the store branch (where I had walked in) called and asked me when I could start. It was very ad-hoc and I was in the dark for most of the time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you have experience. This was the only question they asked.
very informal and quick. didnt have any issues with talking or connection points seems like a quick program for seasonal work during tax time and thats good for a lot of people in a small town that need qucik work during the off season
Straight forward, really technical and I had to take an exam to show where I stood on the information being applied. if you have a background in accounting or entry level is a good place to start.
I applied online. I interviewed at Jackson Hewitt (Denver, CO)
Interview
Scheduled an interview and showed up. Interviewer had to type out my responses on their portal. Had typical questions such as how would you describe customer service and your top 3 strengths and weaknesses.
