I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at JSW Steel in Oct 2025
Interview
You have to apply online by filling out the application form on POD AI. Then you are screened by two online assessments after that you get a interview call. After online or offline interview you get the offer.
Half wave rectifiers allow one half of AC signal to pass, while full wave rectifiers allow both halves, improving efficiency.
Half Wave Rectifier: Uses a single diode to convert AC to DC, allowing only one half of the waveform to pass.
Example: Simple power supply circuits for low-power applications.
Full Wave Rectifier: Uses two or more diodes to convert both halves of the AC waveform into DC.
Example: Bridge rectifier circuit, commonly used in power supplies for higher efficiency.
Half wave rectifiers produce more ripple voltage compared to full wave rectifiers.
Full wave rectifiers provide smoother output voltage and better performance.

Question 1
What is a full wave rectifier, and how does it differ from a half wave rectifier?
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JSW Steel in Jan 2025
Interview
Online Assessment, Round 1 and round 2, you have to clear the first round to appear for the second one, and then after 2nd round, the students who cleared 2nd round will be shortlisted for interview,
In interview, they ask basic questions, like about family, college life, if done some project during college.
